This morning on our run today Nick said I was a great pace buddy – I know, it made me laugh too – But for real I am.
I’m slower than him but he likes running with me because I keep his pace consistent – this word is key
During my last half marathon (like 6 years ago and was it ever a task – lets just say, never again) every mile’s time was within a 5 second difference.
One thing I know for sure, I don’t want to be the fastest out the gate.
I don’t want to fizzle out early.
These words are key for me in all aspects of my life. Work, personal and growth.
Know yourself, your pace, YOUR end goal. So you know that consistency and persistency are so important.
Be a pace setter in your life – don’t set your pace around others goals.
Get 1% better every day and over time that momentum will carry you to your destination every time✌️
